Security forces arrested two militant associates in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said.
The two were arrested by a joint team of Shopian Police, Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles, and CRPF’s 14 battalions at Malik Chek crossing.
“During joint Naka checking by Shopian Police and 14BN CRPF at Malik Chek crossing, two terrorist associates were apprehended along with incriminating material,” Shopian police said in a post on X.
It added that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Heerpora and an investigation has been taken up.
