Army in coordination with Fire Department contains fire in Kupwara district

The Indian Army’s 3 Naga Regiment, in coordination with the Fire Department and residents, successfully contained a fire incident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The Army said that the fire broke out in Darnad Centre Mohalla, Kachama, Kupwara, posing a severe threat to both life and property.

“In a testament to their dedication and swift crisis response, the Chinar Warriors of the Indian Army’s 3 Naga Regiment, in collaboration with the Fire Department and local civilians, successfully averted a major disaster,” the Army said.

Their timely intervention and coordinated efforts ensured that the blaze was effectively controlled, minimizing the risk of significant loss of life or property.

This seamless collaboration between the Army, Fire Department, and the local community highlighted the importance of crisis management and operational synergy.
