Lt Gen Ghai calls J&K Lt Governor, discusses security situation

Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy) and Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai today called on J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, an official spokesman said.

The two discussed the prevailing security scenario in Jammu Kashmir.

Last month Lt General Ghai, the face of the army during Operation Sindoor, was promoted as deputy chief of Army. In the past, he has served as the 15 Corps Commander headquartered at Srinagar.
