Alert troops of Border Security Force fired few rounds on seeing a suspicious movement along the border in Ranbir Singh Pura sector, while a drone was found in Pargwal area of Akhnoor.
Official sources here on Wednesday said that on seeing a suspicious movement close to an International Border on Tuesday midnight, alert BSF troops fired nearly one dozen rounds.
“Search operation is launched in forward areas,” they said.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, sources added that security forces have seized a suspicious drone in village Ghakrhal of Pargwal in Akhnoor sector.
“The security forces have started investigation and launched search operation in the area,” they added.
