Police in Awantipora have organised one-day training-cum-workshop on implementation and investigation of new Criminal Laws, UA(P)A & NDPS cases at DPL Awantipora.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Awantipora and attended by DySP DAR, All SDPOs of Police District Awantipora including Sr. Prosecuting Officer DPO Awantipora, all SHOs, incharge Police Posts and investigating officers of UA(P)A & NDPS cases.
SSP Awantipora in his inaugural speech, highlighted the objective of this workshop and underscored its importance to enhance investigative skills of officers and various SOPs issued from time to time to be adopted while investigating UA(P)A & NDPS Act cases. During the work shop case studies on various conviction as well as acquittals cases were also discussed.
Sr. Prosecuting Office DPO Awantipora delivered detailed briefings on various aspects of NDPS/ UA(P)A Act and related laws and procedures. The programme aimed to equip IOs with advanced techniques and methodologies to better handle complex investigative challenges.(JKNS)
