Police on Thursday attached properties of five alleged Pakistan-based terrorist handlers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The police said after obtaining attachment orders passed by a Baramulla court, it attached properties (9 kanals) of land worth crores belonging to five terror handlers based in Pakistan.
“The action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC & are linked with case FIR No.04/2008 u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act,7/25 Indian Arms Act,13 UA (P) Act of PS Kreeri”, the police said and added “the property was identified belonging to terror handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police”.
The accused have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Ganie a resident of Tilgam, Mehraj ud din Lone of Khargam, Ghulam Mohd Yatoo of Tilgam, Abdul Rehman Bhat of Wanigam Payeen and Abdul Rashid Lone a resident of Satreseeran.
