Sunil Sharma blames ‘NC for disturbances in J&K’, meets family of Ex-Soldier, killed in Kulgam terror attack

 Leader of the Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Wednesday visited the family of the Ex-Army soldier who was killed in Kulgam after terrorists opened fire on him and his family.

Speaking to reporters here in Srinagar, as per news agency KINS, Sharma said, “Today, we have come here to meet the family of the martyred ex-Army soldier who was killed in Kulgam after terrorists targeted him and his family. This is a tragic loss, and we stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.”

The senior BJP leader further accused the National Conference of being involved in creating instability in Jammu and Kashmir.

 “The National Conference has been responsible for shaping the unrest in Jammu and Kashmir since 1931. Whether it was the situation leading to the 1989 exodus or the turmoil, NC has played a role in keeping the region in crisis,” Sharma said.

During his visit, Sharma assured the martyr’s family that the BJP and the government would ensure justice and provide all possible assistance.

He emphasized that such attacks would not be tolerated and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating terrorism from the Union Territory.

The attack in Kulgam has sparked strong reactions from political and security circles, with BJP leaders vowing to take stringent action against those responsible. 

Security forces have intensified operations in the region to track down the terrorists involved in the attack.(KINS)
