Two children were killed and 13 others were injured when a roadways bus collided with a tractor-trolley in Payagpur area of Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place in the afternoon when the bus from Gonda collided with the tractor-trolley in Khutehra. “The injured were pulled out by the local residents and sent to the district hospital. Sana (2) and Shivam (8) died during treatment,” they said.
Police sources said that 13 people, including Sana’s mother Shabnam, Shivam’s father Ram Khelawan, his wife Laxmi, daughter Naina, Saurabh, Meena and Arpit Maurya, were injured in the incident and were being treated at the district hospital.
