Border Security Force (BSF) Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary on Thursday visited the Jammu Frontier and reviewed the security situation along the International Border.
An official comminique said, the BSF DG arrived here on a two-day visit to visit Jammu Frontier and review the security situation along the IB.
He was received by IG DK Boora and other senior officers of the Jammu Frontier.
IG BSF gave a detailed presentation to the DG BSF, covering all critical aspects of border security and domination, including the prevailing security scenario along the IB in Jammu.
The DG BSF visited Border Outposts (BOPs) and also witnessed the operational preparedness of field formations in the Samba-Kathua sector and Sunderbani sector.
He interacted with BSF Sector commander and Battalion commanders on border management aspects.
Tthe DG addressed Sainik Sammelan at the Frontier Headquarters today and praised the troops’ for their dedication towards border duties. He told them to maintain effective border domination to prevent anti-national activities.
