Police Conducts 30 Public Outreach Programmes In Baramulla

 As part of its community policing initiative, Police in Baramulla conducted 30 public outreach programmes across the district to strengthen police–public relations and enhance trust with the community.

The outreach programmes were conducted at 30 locations including Check Saloosa, Buran, Garkote, Gratbal Daji, Kohlar, Nanak Bhawan, Darakunjan, PDD Colony, Suchliwaran, Suchipora, Kachwa Muqam, Madiyari, Gingal, Bachi, Lachipora (A & B), Fajipora, Gokhama, Asha, Poshbagh, Kalantra Payeen, Mohallah Jamia, Bichergund, Check Tilwanpora, Pathanpora, Gojree Mohallah, Shurbugh, Shahdara, Dawaran, Mahyan and Ganjipora.

The programmes focused on creating awareness regarding law and order, drug abuse prevention, cybercrime, traffic safety, and other public safety issues. Police officers interacted directly with local residents, listened to their concerns, and assured timely redressal of genuine grievances.

Police reiterated its commitment to people-friendly policing and urged citizens to cooperate with the police in maintaining peace, harmony, and public order in the district.(JKNS)
